Background

Diogo was born in Berkeley and grew up in the Bay Area attending Saint Mary's College High School and playing for California Magic Soccer Club.

As a coach, Diogo enjoys inspiring children the same way he was inspired by his coaches. He also loves the process of teaching players new skills and watching them practice until they've mastered the skill.

Playing soccer allowed Diogo to feel part of a team and was a fun way to stay active! He wants to return to his former club to help the current generation the way Magic coaches helped him.
