Background

Francisco was born and raised in Oakland. He started playing soccer at the age of four in the streets with neighbors of different ages and ethnicity. As a youth, Francisco played for Bay Oaks, Mustangs, San Jose Earthquakes Academy, and De Anza Force. Francisco also played at Merritt College 2013/14 season where he was named MVP of the league and top scorer setting and breaking the record in goals in a season with 24 goals in 14 games. He then moved to play in Mexico and pursue a professional career, playing in the 3rd division for Cuatitlan in Mexico City. Now back in the Bay, Francisco is playing for Napa Valley 1839 FC in the NPSL for the past five years. Francisco loves how the game is unifying all over the world. It does not matter what race, color, religion etc. If you love the game, you play with whoever, just for fun. When Francisco is not coaching, he loves to workout and spend time with his friends and family. "My players can trust me with anything and know that they have a coach who believes in them."
